HYDROSEED QUESTIONS
How does hydroseeding compare in cost to sod?

Hydroseeding costs approximately 60% to 75% less than sod, making it the ideal solution for large lawns, new home builds, and acreage. Turnkey hydroseeding averages $0.25 to $0.65 per square foot including seedbed grading.

How quickly does hydroseeded grass germinate?

Under proper daily watering, perennial ryegrass sprouts in 5 to 7 days, followed by Kentucky Bluegrass and fescues in 10 to 14 days. You can expect your first mowing within 4 to 5 weeks.

Will hydroseed wash away on steep slopes during heavy rain?

No. Our hydroseed slurry contains commercial wood-fiber mulch and organic tackifier adhesives that bind tightly to the soil, locking seeds in place on embankments and swales.

Big yard. Fast grass.

Tackifier that won't wash away.
